LESSONS
Whistle Stop offers beginner riding lessons for children age 15 and under.
Price for a 1 hour lesson is $35 and a minimum of 4 lessons per month is required to maintain a spot in the program. Lessons will typically be small group or semi-private. Each lesson will include grooming, tack-up, riding and un-tacking. Learning how to properly groom and tack a horse is essential to any budding equestrian.
Lessons will be on weekends for the first few months and may expand to possible weekday time slots when the time changes. Some horses may be available for partial lease outside of lesson days.
As you progress and move beyond our beginner's program you will have a host of qualified trainers to choose from for your equestrian & discipline advancement. Whether you choose to pursue Hunters, Jumpers, Eventing or Dressage, WSS's partnership with some of the area's best trainers will benefit you.
